Mortal Kombat DLC Recap

Today, Freddy became availabe for download for both the Xbox and Ps3. He is the last of the 4 DLC characters released by NetherRealm Studios. I'll take this time and recap on the Characters and their Compatibility Pack additions. And since I like you all, Ill also include their Fatalities ;-) Enjoy!

Big preperation for Freddy

With less than 24 hours to go, the good folks at NetherRealm Studios have spared no expense to get the word out that Freddy's Comin'! Today they released not only Freddy's vignette, but also a commercial that will be aired! Here are both vids. Enjoy!

Xbox 360 Games - E3 2012 - Mortal Kombat

Freddy Krueger will be available tomorrow for the Xbox 360 for 400 MP and the PS3 for $4.99. If you have the Season Pass, you can claim your download through the DLC menu in the game after the Press Start screen.

2 Snowmen arriving with Freddy Next Week

It has been revealed that the 4th compatibility pack arriving next week will include the MK3 maskless outfit for Sub-Zero and a MK3 style cyber ninja outfit for Cyber Sub-Zero. Here's the preview trailer for them and be cautious, you might catch frostbite.



The induction of Freddy K. will conclude, for now, the 4 new characters for MK, thus bringing an end for the need of the season pass, unless you have YET to get Skarlet, Rain and Kenshi. It is being said that Ed Boon stated that these 4 are not the only new characters that will be up for DLC, but that is yet to be seen or properly discussed.

Freddy Kruger and the retro costumes will be available August 9th on the X-box 360 and the PS3. Note that all compatibility packs are FREE.
